Hi! My name is Shiyu Chen (陈时雨). I’m a Ph.D. student at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen (HITsz). Prior to this, I got my M.E. degree in control science and engineering from HITsz, supervised by Prof. Yanjie Li. Now, I’m a researcher at HITsz Reinforcement Learning Group (RLG).
My research focuses on optimization and learning-based control and its application to robots in complex real-world environments with dynamics uncertainty and external disturbances — working towards robustness, agility, safety, and generalization.
